How is the log cabin delivered?

Once your order is confirmed, we begin manufacturing your log cabin. Before delivery, we’ll contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date. The cabin will be delivered via a 26-ton HIAB vehicle, which will crane the cabin package off the truck and place it as close to your property as possible. If you anticipate any access issues at your delivery address, please inform us when placing your order. Please note that we cannot crane the cabin over obstacles like houses. Do I need to maintain a log cabin?

Yes, regular maintenance is essential to keep your log cabin in top condition. Ensure there is sufficient space around the cabin to apply annual treatments and perform necessary upkeep.

Your log cabin arrives untreated, so it’s crucial to treat it with a high-quality wood preserver as soon as possible after assembly. We recommend applying several coats, paying special attention to the bottom logs on each side and around all joints to create a thick, protective layer.

If you plan to paint your log cabin, consider using a clear preserver in addition to the paint. Consult with your paint supplier or manufacturer for specific guidance.

To keep your cabin well-protected, re-treat it regularly, typically once a year. Don’t forget to treat both the interior and exterior of the cabin.

Additionally, make sure no debris accumulates on the roof and that tree branches aren’t touching the EPDM roof covering, as this could cause damage.
