We use 19mm timber for the floor, which is supported by pressure treated bearers which run perpendicular to the floorboards and support it every foot or so. This creates an incredibly strong and resilient floor, and these buildings have been used as gyms, art studios, in-home beauty centres, and even garages with no reported issues.
